The fruit infuser bottle from D’Eco makes it extremely easy for you to mix up some creative produce concoctions and add them to your water. Obviously, this is a great thing in a world where a lot of people enjoy flavored beverages, and having a fruit infuser bottle can keep you from swinging by the local grocery store and picking up a sugary drink that may be detrimental to your health. Also, over time, a fruit infuser bottle can certainly save you some cash. That’s why today I’m going to go over the fruit infuser water bottle w/ straw from D’Eco and let you know whether it’s the right infuser bottle for you.

Lets dive deeper into things and check out the good aspects of this water bottle.

The Good

The most noteworthy thing I’ve seen in regards to this bottle is the fact that it’s easily one of the cheapest fruit infuser bottles I’ve ever come across. You can pick up an entire set of these bottles at a discount, or you can purchase them individually. In a world where it’s hard to find an infuser for less than $10, you’re going to be very hard pressed to beat the price point on the D’Eco bottle. Now, let’s look at some of its other key points:

With so many people wanting to live a more green lifestyle and be more health conscious, you’ll be happy to know that this bottle is 100% BPA free. Therefore, you don’t have to worry about any harmful chemicals making their way into your water or fruit, no matter how many times you wash the bottle.

The bottle is dishwasher safe, so you can put it on the top rack and not have to worry about cleaning it by hand. This is definitely a plus, as most bottles — even far more expensive options, are not typically dishwasher safe.

A straw is included with the bottle, so you can efficiently drink your beverage while on the go. This comes in particularly handy while riding in a car, especially if you’re the one who’s doing the driving.

There are three different color options:

  • Green
  • Blue
  • Orange <— My favorite

The fruit infuser is removable, so you can leave it out and use the bottle as a basic water bottle. Despite being made out of plastic, the bottle does seem to be quite sturdy. It will fit in most vehicle cup holders without a problem. As the product is featured on Amazon Prime, so it is eligible for free 2-day shipping if you’re a Prime member.

The straw has to be inserted from the bottom, so if you knock the cup over, you won’t lose your straw. You also don’t have to worry about it slipping out while drinking from it, either.

The Bad

As you could probably imagine, for a fruit infuser water bottle this cheap, there’s going to be a decent number of bad points.

The bottle has a 20oz capacity which is quite small, and is honestly the smallest fruit infuser bottle I’ve reviewed at this point in time. Being that it’s only 20oz, you’re going to have to get up and refill the bottle numerous times throughout the day, which can definitely be a bit frustrating. Some users have also reported that the screw top lid leaks.

There are only three different color options. Typically, I like to see a few more with many competitors offering a whole range of colors.

I never thought I’d be saying this in a review for a fruit infusing water bottle, but the sticker on the front of the bottle itself is a major frustration, and absolutely painstaking to remove. It is one of those typical stickers that will rip away, leaving remnants of itself all over the bottle. Even after you get the sticker off of the bottle, the goo left behind will be sticky. It takes a decent amount of scrubbing and patience to get it off.

Another negative is to expect there to be a little bit of fruit left over in the infuser, even after draining the bottle. You’ll have to do a little bit of extra picking and digging to get it cleaned out properly.

Should You Buy It?

As you can tell, I pointed out a lot of negative factors about these bottles, but you have to keep in mind how little they cost. Few infusing bottles approach such a low price tag. They are decent if you’re going to drink infused water while at the house, or outside on a sunny day in the backyard. If you want something to take hiking, to the gym, etc… You may want to give this particular model a pass.
